- Re-Imaging Communities Programme - Art Council
This is a three year funding programme for local communities, the programme will help communities in urban and rural areas to focus on positive ways to express who they are and what culture means to them.
The programme will help to replace paramilitary murals and emblems with positive images and to develop mural art and public art which celebrates life and helps people feel part of the commmunity they live in.
Amount: Grants up to £5,000 for small projects/Grants up to £50,000 for larger scale projects.

HealthPromoting Homes - Programme Open for Applications - - Wednesday, August 23, 2006
The Western Investing for Health Partnership (WIFH) is seeking applications from community based organisations interested in running the Health Promoting Homes Programme in their local community.
We will fund one health promoting homes programme in each District Council area across the Western Board. A maximum of £10,000 is available in each area to cover costs for programme delivery.
A delivery model has been developed for the programme and is incuded in the application pack available on request. Partnership appliations are partiulary welcome. The main criteria for delivery are:
The partnicipation of families on the three core modules of the health promoting homes programme- personal development/nutrition/physical activity

Don't forget that if any of you are interested in joining the Forum you are more than welcome. The Forum is growing from strength to strength and it is important that all groups begin to work on a collaborative basis. It is also important to think about the future and the Review of Public Administration (RPA) and the impact that this has on the future of the community / voluntary sector. The Community Forum will be the mechanism that Council will use to gain opinions, to consult with and to work with in the Future.

Groups must fill in an outline proposal form, it would be better to fill in the form as soon as possible, it is recommended that groups fill in the proposal form at least 3 months before the closing date for the full application which is 6th September 2006.
